DocuMaster |

The DocuMaster is a
complete finishing
system, but one on which
each element can be used
separately for maximum
flexibility. It
comprises a creasing
unit, which uses
Magana’s world-renowned
creasing and suction
feed technologies,
linked to automatic
booklet making.
The Creaser - which can
also be used to
perforate - can put up
to 9 creases on a sheet
at speeds up to 3640
sheets per hour. To use
the complete system, the
operator first enters
the number of sheets and
the sheet size required
for the book on the
simple to use control
panel and then
programmes in whether
the cover and/or middle
sheets need to be
creased.
Thereafter, the highly
automated DocuMaster
takes over all
functions. For
particularly thick books
an optional spine press
can be used to square
the back of the book,
giving a superior
perfect bound appearance
but with the security of
a stitched spine. |
