The DP-460H is the
flagship of all digital
duplicators, designed to
meet the most demanding
needs of the modern
printer. It is unique in
having a suction feed, a
large capacity 3,000
sheet feeder and very
fast response speed,
factors that promise
high reliability and
consistent productivity.
Printing begins 26
seconds after imaging
starts and continues at
120 pages a minute until
the job is complete. But
it is the feeder, with
air knife separation,
that sets the DP-460H
apart. Add in excellent
registration, a spot
colour option and it is
clear that the DP-460H
can take longer run work
away from an expensive
to run copier and
shorter run work from an
expensive to set up
litho press.
The DP-460H sits neatly
between low volume
copying and the offset
litho press with a sweet
spot from 40-5,000
prints. There is no
plate to produce as
imaging the master
direct from the computer
takes place inside the
digital duplicator,
offering true on demand
print capability. The
quality of output covers
sharp text reproduction
to smooth halftones and
a multiple exposure
function to make full
use of the printed
sheet. Like an offset
press, the cost per
printed sheet falls as
the print run increases,
while the DP-460H has
simplicity of operation
that is closer to a
copier than an offset
press.
